Despite the not-so-positive news headlines, I hope everyone remains filled with faith and hope in our great and mighty God. The times and seasons are in his hands, and if we know our Bibles, we know things will get worse before they get better. But the biblical prophets are batting 1000, so we know who wins in the end.
Look up, for our redemption draws near!
Let’s not grow weary in well-doing. Like most people, I sometimes grow discouraged from time to time. But the Lord always lifts me up, and after a short bout of “oh-what’s-the-use,” I get encouraged—again—and get back on track with my plans and goals for being busy about my father’s business.
Always writing, of course. My music has become a great source of comfort and enjoyment in my life, as well as outreach in serving my generation. And I’m so thankful for the friends I have made in following the course of my music.
I am happy to announce that after quite a long hiatus, I have started posting YouTube videos again! Beginning with three to five-minute daily meditations (various topics). So please check them out. My channel is small because I haven’t posted regularly in a while, but over the years I have created quite a body of work there.
I plan to start doing regular YouTube live streams and premieres, so, if you or anyone you know are looking for a place to fellowship and discuss interesting Bible topics through the live chats, I invite you to subscribe. 🙏If you like and comment on the videos, more people will see them and the channel will grow🙏 🤗. I am open to suggestions as to good times of day to do the live streams and premieres.
My next birthday is coming up, DRUM ROLL PLEASE….
I will soon say hello to the BIG 70. So, naturally, part of my plan in staying consistent in accomplishing my writing and music goals is to stay as fit as possible. Courtesy of my sister, this next picture is me saying goodbye to 69 😊. No, I’m not crying 😊
About staying fit, this past year was a rough one for me, and I only averaged the gym a couple times a week. When the weather’s nice, I like to add the walk park or pool to that routine. But I admit, all of that has been sporadic. I haven’t fallen completely out of shape, and something’s always better than nothing when it comes to fitness, but, going forward, I want to do more in that respect, so I’m currently upping my fitness commitment and goals. And for good reason. I have a bird watching date with a grandson (in the middle of nowhere!)—a lot of hiking involved with that one!
Yeah. That means stay in shape 😊.
Confession time: I do not do well at following strict schedules. In fact, I’m lousy at it. But I have come up with a system that I believe may work well for me. I will definitely keep you posted on how I do with it. One of my goals is to finish the 2nd Edition of God and Women: Deconstructing the Christian Caste System, which is currently being published in a serialized, chapter by chapter, form on Substack. The first three chapters are available now for free. Once all the chapters are completed, I will release the new edition on Amazon, so print and kindle copies can be purchased and shared.
The other goal is to finish Deconstructing the Danver’s Statement. Several segments are already available in print and video formats. Check it out.
Since this will be my landing page for 2026 (please share!), below are my relevant links.
